Mission
Akira Living will empower architects, residential designers, developers, builders, and the most vital participants of all – the homeowners to produce and renovate homes to the right standard, the Passive House Standard, and redefine True Luxury© and quality living in the market place. We will provide guidance on a high performance built environment to create a brighter future for the inhabitants and surrounding natural environment.
Vision
We strive to change the general public’s perception of luxury homes. Luxury cannot be solely created with expensive finishes appealing to the eye or adding isolated mechanical systems. True Luxury© is about pleasing the senses from unsurpassed thermal comfort and indoor air quality that is realized with the Passive House Standard. Comparable to the automobile industry, a modern luxury vehicle pays attention to the details, high-quality with compelling features to improve performance and comfort. Driving these vehicles creates an enhanced feeling beyond a visually pleasing design. A high performance house that meets the Passive House Standard creates a similar enhanced feeling when compared to a conventional house. People can no longer be fooled into believing something is truly luxurious just because of clever branding or isolated features such as quartz countertops, stainless steel appliances, and radiant heated floors. True Luxury© will be high performance building construction that benefits the inhabitants health and overall quality of life.
